American Express Shop Small Australia runs 1-30 November
If you’re a small Australian retailer, November presents some pretty big sales opportunities. Along with BFCM (Black Friday Cyber Monday) and the start of the Christmas shopping rush, American Express are running their 6th annual Shop Small movement.
During November (1st - 30th), Amex Card carrying shoppers who register for the offer, can spend $20 at a participating business and get a $10 credit from American Express. In 2017, over a million Amex Card Members shopped at small businesses, spending a whopping $675m. So the numbers certainly speak for themselves. You can register your business to get on the Shop Small map so that consumers can find you as a participating merchant. With 851,000 views of the Shop Small map in 2017, it’s a great opportunity to bring more footfall into your store. There’s also a chance to win a $50,000 business grant and mentoring from Andrew Banks if you register by 24th November. You’ll also be able to order complimentary signs and supplies and social media banners.
