Aaron Blackman, the Founder and CEO of Retail Express, was a retailer himself when he realised that most POS software systems in the industry were ill-equipped to actually drive sustained business growth.

"As a growing Australian retailer, I was consistently disappointed with the features and support I was getting from POS system vendors. They promised the world and delivered mediocrity." says Aaron.

"All the POS systems available were on-premise desktop applications. The data was always outdated and never live. There were constant system crashes and data polling issues. These systems created endless headaches for me instead of enabling my growth, and the vendor support was horrible."

Aaron knew had to do something. So, drawing on his own experience of the challenges of managing a multi-store retail business; and consulting hundreds of other retailers; he set out to design the world's first cloud retail management platform. A modern way to tackle age-old retail problems.
